About the survey

CDA Hertfordshire has been commissioned to undertake an independent Housing Needs Survey for Markyate.

The purpose is to establish whether people with a connection to Markyate have unmet housing needs and, if so, what types, sizes and tenures of homes may be required. This includes people who cannot afford suitable housing on the open market, as well as those whose current home no longer meets their needs.

CDA Hertfordshire is an independent rural community charity and has no interest in promoting any particular development or predetermined number of homes.

The findings will be based on the information provided by local people and presented in an independent report.
