Home Energy Journey
Your Home Energy Journey
Self-assessment, energy performance reports and optional solar/PV surveys.
Your home energy journey
Start with a self-assessment, move to an EPR assessment, and choose an optional solar/PV survey if useful. You can start at the stage you need, with no obligation to buy further services.
1. Start with a self-assessment
Download a simple template to review your bills, heating, insulation, comfort and priorities. Complete what you know and keep a copy for your next conversation with us.
The template is an editable text file you can open, complete or print. It is a starting point, not an EPR or professional assessment.
Download the home self-assessment template (.txt)
If the download does not work, contact us for a copy.
2. Energy Performance Report (EPR)
Understand your home’s energy performance and practical improvements. Your EPR is a private report and is not publicly registered.
View an example EPR (PDF, opens in a new tab)
£120 per domestic EPR; the first 20 are fully funded.
3. Optional solar / PV survey
If you would like to explore solar panels, request a solar/PV survey. This optional step is separate from the EPR assessment.
Use the enquiry form below and choose the renewables option. We will discuss your home and explain the survey arrangements before you decide whether to proceed.
Residential solar and battery checklist
The following documents and information are needed to complete your solar/PV report. They are not required for the EPR booking.
- Full installation address and postcode.
- Complete electricity bills for the last three months, showing the full address and current tariff.
- Annual electricity usage in kWh, provided separately if not shown on the bills.
- Confirmation of whether the electricity supply is single-phase or three-phase.
- Typical electricity usage times, including whether anyone is home during the day.
- Details of any existing solar panels or battery storage.
- Confirmation of property ownership or permission from the owner to install.
- Details of EV chargers, heat pumps or planned increases in electricity usage.
- Roof plans, measurements and photos, if available.
Photos of the roof, electricity meter, supply equipment and consumer unit or main distribution board would be helpful if available. We can take these during our site survey and confirm the supply type if you are unsure.
Solar/PV Survey and Energy Enquiries
For an optional solar/PV survey, select the renewables option below. You can also use this form to ask about an EPR or other home energy support.
Submitting the form does not commit you to purchasing a survey, product or service.
