Boxing Exercise Coming to 3 Villages this Autumn

A seven-week boxing exercise taster is coming to Ickleford, Knebworth and Digswell this autumn.

What we do

  • πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ

Bring beginner-friendly activities to rural spaces β€” from walking groups along country lanes to chair yoga in village halls, low-impact boxing drills, and family sports tasters on the green.
  • 🏑

Work with parish councils, village halls, and local instructors to design activities that fit each community’s pace and place.
  • πŸ“’

Provide light-touch coordination, local promotion, and easy booking so villagers can focus on joining in and having fun.
  • πŸ› οΈ

Support local volunteers and venues with ready-made templates, safety checks, and simple funding routes to keep activities going.

βš™οΈ How it works

  • 1️⃣

Tell us your idea β€” yoga, walking, table-tennis, dance, litter picking, gardening or a mix.
  • 2️⃣

We scope your village β€” space, times, instructor options, access needs.
  • 3️⃣

We pilot for 6–8 weeks with simple sign-ups and local promotion.
  • 4️⃣

Cement a regular activity into your village.

πŸ‘₯ Who it’s for

  • πŸ§‘β€πŸ¦³

Older adults seeking gentle activity and social connection.
  • πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§

Families looking for low-cost, local activities.
  • πŸ§‘β€πŸ¦½

People returning to movement after time away β€” sessions are beginner friendly.
  • 🏫

Village groups, halls, and parish councils wanting to energise their communities.
