Individual membership
Start with free Rural Voice registration. You can then choose to support CDA Herts by upgrading to Individual membership for £10, which lets you apply for a Rural Marketplace shop. Having a shop is optional.
Your membership
Individual membership costs £10 for the current membership year, from 1 September to 31 August. The full £10 applies when you join partway through the year. Renewal is due on 1 September and will be managed by CDA Herts for the initial launch.
Individual membership lets you set up a Rural Marketplace shop through Your Hub. Having a shop is optional, and no separate shop application or approval is required.
Register free for Rural Voice
Join Rural Voice free to take part in the forum and access Your Hub. No payment is required. From Your Hub, you can choose to upgrade to Individual membership for £10 and apply for a Rural Marketplace shop.
Already registered? Sign in and go to Your Hub using your existing account.
Once signed in, you can choose to pay for Individual membership. CDA Herts will confirm your payment and activate your membership. Please allow time for this manual check, including bank-transfer payments.
After confirmation, visit Your Hub for your membership and shop application options.
Opening a marketplace shop
Shop owners manage their own shop details, products, prices, stock, shipping and fulfilment. CDA Herts provides the platform.
- No platform commission for the first three months from shop creation.
- Then 4% commission on product sales, excluding shipping.
- Payment processing fees apply separately.
