About Us

Who are we?

CDA Herts stands for Community Development Action Hertfordshire.

We are a countywide voluntary organisation with a Board of Trustees. We have been helping communities and delivering projects and services for over 50 years to help improve life for both rural and urban Hertfordshire.

We are also the Rural Community Charity for Hertfordshire and work to raise awareness of the needs of rural communities, farmers and businesses.

We bring together people and communities, champion the disadvantaged and provide advocacy for minorities and excluded groups. We provide support for voluntary organisations in need of infrastructure and resources.

Board Members

CDA Herts Board of Trustees are elected at the Annual General Meeting and are responsible, together with the staff, to support the Vision, Mission and Values of the organisation. Each Trustee “adopts” a project (based on personal interest/experience) to support staff and learn about the work we do and inter-facing with like-minded and trusted partners and stakeholders and impact on our beneficiaries.
