Community Development Action Hertfordshire
Community Transport

Helping people stay mobile,
independent, and connected
CDA Herts promotes community transport across Hertfordshire and directly operates a weekly paid-for community minibus service in Tewin. This helps residents access shopping, social opportunities, and support when public transport is limited.
We also support other community transport schemes by raising awareness, sharing resources, and encouraging local partnership working.
What We Do
🚌 Weekly Minibus in Tewin
We run a paid-for weekly community minibus for residents of Tewin.
This friendly, accessible service provides a return trip to the supermarket in Welwyn Garden City every Saturday, giving residents the opportunity to:
- Do their weekly shopping
- Socialise with neighbours
- Get assistance to the door if required
🕙 Departs: Saturdays at 10am
💷 Cost: £6 per person per trip
💳 Concessions: £4
📅 Booking: Pre-book by Thursday at 12pm
