| General Description | |
| Our village hall is a simple construction built about 100 years ago. In more recent times it has been extended to include toilet and a room for the weekly doctor’s surgery. The hall is held in trust for the village and is a registered charity. In 1919 it was granted a cinema licenses and the showing of films continued until the 1950s. It is now used as a venue for social events, meetings of village organisations, keep fit groups and our village post office. This year a new committee of trustees was appointed and their efforts have resulted in greater use of the hall, the introduction of a weekly village tuck shop and the desire to make the hall a vibrant community hub
