| Built specifically for the Royston Community Association to run and opened in 1987 the building is owned by Horth District Council and run by the RCA under a lease. The RCA pay a peppercorn rent and maintain the inside of the building NHDC maintain the outside. It has a sports hall, two meeting rooms, kitchen, members bar and purpose built under 5′ s area curently occupied by Rainbow Playgroup.There is a disable toilet and baby changing and car parking around the bulding. The U5’s area was added 10 years after the main building was constructed.The RCA has run the centre for the last 27 years. Unigue facility is high ceiling suitable for badminton and we allow bouncy castles inside for childrens parties because there is the height and the ceiling has acoustic panels to reduce echo and reverb.
