A quote from Christine Nairn, Trustee and supporter of the CDAH Community Garden in St Albans

“After working for a large American Corporation for many year when I came to retire I wanted to get involved in something completely different. After looking around I applied to join CDA  Herts as a Trustee. After a little while I became involved in working with another trustee to establish a Community Garden in St Albans. We had been very kindly leased a significant plot of land by Oaklands College. Over the last five plus years a number of us have worked hard to establish our Community Garden & we have been generously supported by a number of financial corporations, retailers & religious groups. Working with so many different & diverse local groups has been incredibly rewarding especially seeing young people with severe disabilities just enjoying being out in a safe & beautiful place.”
